Summary
We are seeking a talented Data/BI Consultant to support a major migration project from MicroStrategy to Tableau. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative data architecture initiatives while collaborating with a dynamic team.
<>Responsibilities- Own the design and implementation of the BI architecture, ensuring alignment with future state goals.
- Lead the conversion process from MicroStrategy to Tableau, including inventory and mapping of existing content.
- Document architecture decisions and develop reference designs for seamless integration.
- Establish and maintain the semantic layer, defining KPIs, metrics, and ensuring data quality and governance.
- Optimize performance through effective query plans and validation frameworks.
- Facilitate the adoption of data practices, providing guidance and support to analysts and team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and enhance data management processes.
- Proven experience in data management, database design, and related fields.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with NoSQL technologies.
- Expertise in data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and data modeling tools.
- Background in developing data governance policies and best practices.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
