Job Summary:

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Data Engineer on behalf of our client in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, consolidate data from multiple sources into centralized platforms, and perform data analysis and reporting using SQL and R. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced SQL expertise, and experience with Snowflake and DBT.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and optimize data pipelines to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Consolidate data from multiple sources into a centralized data platform.
Perform data analysis, profiling, and reporting using R.
Write complex SQL queries, tune performance, and maintain database efficiency.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
Document processes, support database management, and promote process improvements.
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
4-5 years of experience in data engineering, database management, or analytics.
Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL) with experience writing complex queries and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT.
Experience in R for reporting and data analysis.
Solid understanding of database performance tuning, system administration, and data pipeline management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in advisory, brokerage, or pipeline data management projects.
Familiarity with translating business intelligence requirements into technical solutions.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in hybrid environments.
