Location: San Antonio, TX (5 days onsite)
Duration: 6-month contract (potential to extend)

Role Overview
We are seeking a SAP UI5 Developer for a contract role based in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires working on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building custom applications within an S/4 HANA environment. This role requires the ability to work independently, taking high-level functional designs to create robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Build custom UI5 applications with a focus on JavaScript, not Fiori development.
· Work within an S/4 HANA environment to develop and deploy solutions.
· Collaborate with technical and functional teams to design and analyze solutions.
· Develop modularized ABAP code and handle full lifecycle custom development, including enhancements.
· Resolve system defects identified during the testing phase.
· Adhere to development standards and follow the change management process for application deployment.
· Work independently to deliver on project priorities.
Required Qualifications
· Experience building custom applications with SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
· Proficiency with Business Application Studio (BAS).
· Experience working in an S/4 HANA environment.
· Strong understanding of modularized ABAP code.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills.
· Good understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC, and data modeling concepts.
· Experience with Gateway Services, OData, and CDS views.
· Experience with Fiori Elements.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working with Git for version control.
· Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices.
· Experience extending and integrating new solutions with pre-existing custom solutions.
