Primary responsibilities include providing mechanical field service support to LCI's existing customers. Activities also include growing the part & service business through customer service via incoming phone calls, telephone support, troubleshooting, and customer training. Also responsible for reviewing customer installations for opportunities to upgrade and improve existing equipment, writing trip reports, preparing quotations and handling warranty service.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality Field Service and Troubleshooting to LCI customers including maintaining good customer service relations. Duties also include documentation of work performed in a service report.
  • Prepare requests for quotations (RFQs) from suppliers/shops, cost sheets (job estimations), create & issue final proposals/quotations for customers.
  • Professionally prepare & present design concepts and final proposals for customers or sales team.

  • Take incoming phone calls and provide solutions for LCI's existing customer base. Proactively call and visit existing LCI customers to promote Aftermarket Products, Services, and Capabilities,

i.e. Spare Parts, Major Components, Field Service and Repair work, etc. Expected to analyze sales and customer usage history and develop sales plan to grow Aftermarket business.
  • Perform shop inspections of LCI parts, components, etc.
  • Serve as Project Manager on selected Major Component and Repair jobs and/or during peak loads, i.e. no LCI Project Managers available.
  • Conduct onsite "Lunch and Learns" for customers to train them on how to properly maintain LCI equipment/systems.
  • All other duties that may be necessary from time to time outside the normal scope of your job description that will contribute toward the Company meeting its goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
  • 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree required (BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering also considered)
  • Experience in servicing industrial equipment, preferably with rotating equipment, mechanical seals, vacuum systems, and pumps preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of Fabrication procedures and techniques preferred.
  • Knowledge of Vibration Analysis Certification, Surface Profiling/Metallurgy, Measuring Tools,

i.e. Calipers, Micrometer, Hardness Testing
  • Reading/Interpreting Fabrication Drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft CRM, Excel, Word, Outlook Software,
  • Possess intermediate and basic skills in the use of AutoCAD and Inventor software respectively.
