Project Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join its IT Platform team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure to support business operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for driving technology improvements in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that support business and operational requirements.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize IT platforms to ensure high performance, reliability, and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Research emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct infrastructure audits and assessments to identify improvement opportunities and implement necessary enhancements.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Partner with business and technology teams to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify potential risks within the IT environment and implement mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT policies, standards, and procedures to support compliance and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, infrastructure management, or platform engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong leadership and project management skills with experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
