Civil Engineering Project Manager in Pittsburgh, PA

Direct Hire with hybrid work arrangement (1 remote day/week; optional 9/80 schedule with every other Friday or Monday off)
Base salary range: $135,000.00+ (commensurate with experience)

We're looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead design engineering projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing leadership position and enjoys driving projects forward while mentoring teams and maintaining high-quality standards.

What you'll be doing:

Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams across engineering projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships
Develop, manage, and forecast project budgets and schedules
Coordinate internal teams, subconsultants, and external stakeholders
Oversee technical deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to QA procedures
Lead meetings, presentations, and proposal development efforts
Review and approve invoices, design changes, and project documentation
Support continuous improvement initiatives and team development

What you bring:

BS in Civil Engineering
PE license required
8+ years of relevant engineering experience
Strong background in highway and/or structural design
Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development
