Inspiration Global is seeking a Senior / Lead Application Developer to design, develop, and support business-critical applications. This rolewill play a critical role in developing, maintaining and optimizing internal rating systems (Optum Stepwise ), commissions systems (APM/SAP), and various data integration jobs.
This position focuses on supporting sales, incentives, commissions and underwriting/actuarial in the health plan business domain.
Primary Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Minimum: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.
- 5+ years of experience as a developer.
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to design, research, configure, build, test, and implement new implementations.
- Understanding DevOps and Agile practices.
- Translate and document business problems and/or user stories to functional applications.
- Good understanding of cloud and other architectural patterns.
- Ensures projects are completed within committed time and budget.
- Create detailed design artifacts and technical documentation.
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solution while considering innovation and longer-term outlook.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Maintain code quality standards.
- Works across multiple applications and allocates time appropriately to meet assigned deadlines.
- Understanding of developing and maintaining secure applications.
- Works independently without supervision with latitude for independent judgement, Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
