Overview

The Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) & Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Reporting Lead is responsible for the strategy, design, development, and delivery of enterprise reporting solutions that support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), accounting, executive management, and operational stakeholders. This role serves as the primary functional and technical leader for Oracle EPM Cloud reporting capabilities and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence analytics, ensuring the organization delivers scalable, reliable, and actionable reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud reporting technologies, Essbase architecture, financial planning processes, and enterprise analytics with strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities. This individual will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, ETS, and business leaders to define requirements, develop reporting solutions, and guide initiatives through the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Reporting Strategy & Delivery
  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise reporting solutions across Oracle EPM Cloud and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
  • Establish reporting standards, governance processes, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and usability across the enterprise.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and implementation lead for EPM and FDI reporting capabilities and provide strategic guidance on reporting architecture and roadmap initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, dashboards, management reporting packages, and executive analytics.
  • Understand and anticipate the delivery of new product features in the EPM and FDI space to shape and prioritize the product backlog
  • Lead workshops and discovery sessions to capture, analyze, document, and groom business requirements.
  • Translate complex finance and operational business needs into functional and technical reporting specifications.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Finance, Audit, ETS, and other business stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication throughout project lifecycles.


Oracle EPM Reporting Development
  • Design and develop complex reports and reporting packages using Financial Reporting Studio, Management Reporting, Narrative Reporting, Smart View, Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) and other enterprise reporting capabilities within Oracle EPM Cloud.
  • Develop reporting solutions supporting budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, actuals reporting, variance analysis, product costing and executive performance management.
  • Collaborate with Finance and business teams to transform business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.


Fusion Data Intelligence Development
  • Lead development, configuration and administration of business functions within FDI to support the use of executive dashboards, scorecards, and operational analytics using Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Establish reporting frameworks and KPI structures that support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate integration and presentation of ERP, EPM, and operational data across the analytics ecosystem.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, including HR and Procurement Analytics, to define metrics, dimensions, and reporting requirements that drive enterprise insights.


Essbase & Data Architecture Leadership
  • Provide expertise in Essbase BSO and ASO cube design, dimensional modeling, aggregation strategies, and performance optimization.
  • Support reporting architecture decisions related to cube structures, hierarchies, metadata, and data management processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and support integrations, ETL processes, and data movement between ERP, EPM, and reporting platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting performance and scalability through architecture optimization.


Testing, Release Management & Change Leadership
  • Lead stakeholders through end-to-end testing processes, including unit and functional testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and production validation.
  • Support and maintain software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and governance processes.
  • Coordinate deployments, release readiness activities, and change management efforts.
  • Ensure reporting solutions meet quality, performance, and compliance requirements before production implementation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting Oracle EPM Cloud and/or Hyperion solutions.
  • Significant hands-on experience developing and supporting Financial Reporting Studio, Management Reporting, Narrative Reporting, Smart View, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle Essbase architecture, including BSO and ASO cubes, dimensional modeling, aggregation design, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting, variance analysis, and financial management reporting.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, release management, and change management disciplines.
  • Experience executing work through agile practices
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Required Qualifications
  • Oracle EPM Cloud implementation experience.
  • Experience supporting EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS and PCMCS
  • Experience with Oracle Data Integration, Data Management, Data Exchange, and ETL solutions.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Projects.
  • Experience supporting audit, regulatory, and compliance reporting requirements.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications in EPM, Analytics, or ERP platforms.
  • Experience with processes and technical aspects of Financial Reporting products such as Workiva a plus
