Junior Software Engineer EHR Integrations & Application Support

Want to launch your software engineering career building technology that hospitals and clinicians rely on every day? Healthcare Triangle (HCTI) is growing a small, high-impact U.S. engineering team, and we re looking for a junior engineer who s eager to learn, ship real code, and grow fast.
This is a true early-career role: we care more about strong fundamentals, curiosity, and dependability than years on a resum or a healthcare background. You ll learn the rest here, working side by side with our Director of Engineering, with mentorship and code review every step of the way. You ll also use modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code) as part of your daily workflow.
What you ll do
Help build, test, and improve healthcare software and EHR integrations on live systems.
Investigate support tickets and fix bugs and learn how production systems really work.
Ship well-scoped features and enhancements from the team backlog.
Write tests, take part in code reviews, and keep documentation clear and current.
Use AI-assisted tools (Claude Code) to move faster and learn as you go.
What we re looking for
0 2 years of experience: internships, co-ops, bootcamp work, open-source, or strong personal projects all count.
Comfort with at least one modern language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#/.NET, or Java).
Some familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, and Git.
Clear communication and a genuine eagerness to learn and take feedback.
Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work U.S. business hours.

Any exposure to healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform), or AI coding assistants.
