We are currently looking for 'Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) W2 Contract' to support one of our clients with the following skills:

Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) W2 Contract

Location: Tucson, AZ (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months (Extension Possible)

Employment Type: W2 Contract

Pay Rate: DOE

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET with strong software development fundamentals and deep expertise in automation framework design & development. This role requires hands-on coding, automation strategy building, and experience in regulated environments.

Required Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in Software Development & Test Automation Framework Engineering

Strong programming expertise in at least one of the following:

C# (Preferred)

Python

Java

Extensive hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks:

Selenium

Appium

Cypress

JUnit / TestNG

API Testing (Mandatory)

Experience building & maintaining scalable automation frameworks

Hands-on exposure to TestComplete and Playwright (Preferred current team stack)

Prior exposure to AI-based testing tools is a strong plus

Experience working in regulated industries such as:

Experience in medical diagnostics or other electro-mechanical industry area is mandatory.

Industry Requirement (Mandatory)

Candidates must have prior experience working in regulated environments (Medical Devices / Pharma / Biotech).

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $45 - $75 per hour on W2.
