About the Role
We are hiring on behalf of a global, science-driven manufacturing and technology company widely recognized for its commitment to innovation, product safety, and regulatory compliance. Our client produces a broad range of specialized materials and products used in medical, industrial, and consumer applications.
As a Supplier Material Compliance Data Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting procurement-led compliance initiatives by collecting, verifying, and maintaining supplier material data. This role ensures that accurate and complete supplier information is available to meet regulatory requirements, support audits, and maintain product lifecycle readiness.
In this position, you will manage the end-to-end process of supplier data collection, including outreach, data validation, and preparation of information for internal systems. You will interact closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with material reporting requirements and will help strengthen internal processes related to data quality and regulatory preparedness.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured outreach to suppliers to obtain required material information.
- Distribute questionnaires, data collection templates, and instructions to suppliers.
- Track supplier responses, due dates, and follow-up needs.
- Review supplier submissions for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with compliance requirements.
- Coordinate remediation efforts to resolve missing, incomplete, or unclear information.
- Prepare validated supplier data for upload into internal systems and databases.
- Support periodic data refresh cycles and audit readiness activities.
- Contribute to process improvements for supplier data collection and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in supplier outreach, supplier communication, or supplier data collection.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers, deadlines, and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Experience in compliance, procurement, supply chain, or materials management.
- Familiarity with regulatory material reporting (e.g., RoHS, REACH, TSCA, Prop 65, IMDS, or similar).
- Experience working with structured data or compliance-related databases.
- Process improvement or workflow optimization experience.
