About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technical Oracle Cloud Data Conversion Lead to drive end-to-end data migration strategies and execution for our upcoming Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations. This is a remote role with travel requirements to Irvine, California, for key workshops and project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Conversion Strategy & Planning:

  • Define and document the comprehensive data migration approach, methodology, and standards.

  • Identify data sources, assess data quality, and determine cleansing requirements.

• Design & Development:

  • Develop detailed data mapping documents between legacy systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud.

  • Design and build robust ETL processes using Oracle tools (such as FBDI templates, ADFDI, and OTBI).

  • Create and maintain scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Execution & Validation:

  • Perform seamless data conversions across relevant modules (Finance, SCM, HCM, etc.).

  • Conduct rigorous mock conversions and reconcile data accuracy.

  • Collaborate closely with functional teams to secure validation and formal sign-offs.

• Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams.

  • Provide status updates, resolve conversion issues, and ensure compliance with project governance.

• Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and strict adherence to organizational standards.

  • Thoroughly document conversion processes and maintain complete audit trails.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

  • 10–15 years of overall experience in Oracle ERP implementations and technologies.

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud technologies, with a minimum of 5 years specifically focused on Oracle ERP/SCM Cloud programs.

• Lifecycle Expertise: End-to-end data migration lifecycle experience, including source data profiling & cleansing, mapping and transformation logic design, validation and reconciliation, dry runs, mock conversions, and cutover execution.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (Finance, SCM).

  • Deep understanding of the Oracle Cloud data model.

  • Proficiency in FBDI, ADFDI, OTBI, SQL, PL/SQL, and data migration tools.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Import & Load processes (FBL/HDL for HCM, FBDI for others).

• Implementation Track Record: Proven hands-on experience in multiple end-to-end data conversion cycles covering analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.

• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a strong plus.

Location & Travel

• Work Arrangement: Remote with required travel to Irvine, CA.

• Travel Expectation: Must be ready to travel and work in-person for all workshops and key milestones.
