Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Finance Functional Consultant with strong functional expertise in NAV Financial Management. The consultant will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring NAV 2009, supporting finance processes, troubleshooting functional issues and working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 functional solutions.
Configure and support NAV 2009 Financial Management modules.
Work with Finance and Accounting teams to understand business processes and provide NAV solutions.
Configure General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and General Journals.
Configure and support Chart of Accounts, dimensions, posting groups, VAT/tax setup, payment terms, currencies, and fiscal periods.
Troubleshoot NAV functional issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolutions.
Prepare functional specifications for customizations and reports.
Work closely with NAV developers on extensions, reports, interfaces, and custom functionality.
Perform functional testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing.
Prepare test scripts, user documentation, and training materials.
Support data migration, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
Participate in NAV implementations, upgrades, rollouts and production support.
Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and business users to resolve issues within agreed timelines.
Required Skills
5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience, with strong experience in NAV 2009.
Strong functional experience of NAV Financial Management.
