Our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Team is leading a journey to advance the use of analytics. We aim to make data readily accessible and trusted, accelerate the time-to-insight, and enable deep-dive analysis on an array of information. In collaboration with our partners, our projects aim to uncover the story hidden in the data and to leverage data science techniques to predict outcomes and inform next actions.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Data Engineer with strong business intelligence and data integration experience
-Design, develop, and support enterprise data and analytics solutions
-Build scalable data pipelines across multiple platforms
-Integrate data from diverse source systems
-Enable reporting and analytics using strong SQL, data virtualization, and API-based data connectivity
-Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data.
-Create and maintain technical documentation for data flows, integration points, and support procedures.
-Build and enhance Power BI solutions, including semantic models, dataflows, dashboards, reports, and reusable analytics assets.
-Develop advanced Power Query (M) transformations to support ingestion, cleansing, and shaping of data.
-Write, optimize, and maintain advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and calculations to support business reporting and analytics.
-Design and maintain Semantic Models, including data modeling, relationships, hierarchies, and row-level security.
-Create impactful reports and visualizations in Power BI, including use of bookmarks and interactive user experiences.
-Support and enhance Dataflows and shared datasets to promote scalable and reusable analytics architecture.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights that meet business needs.
-Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and visualization.
-Mentorship and guidance to provide technical leadership to team members and citizen developers across the organization.

Must Have:
-Deep hands-on experience with SQL, including advanced query development, optimization, performance tuning, and data transformation.
-Strong experience with data virtualization technologies and enterprise integration patterns.
-Proven experience with API integrations, including REST/SOAP services, authentication methods, JSON/XML payloads, and automated ingestion processes.
-Advanced experience with Power Query (m query language).
-Advanced experience with DAX (writing and optimizing).
-Experience with Dataflows.
-Experience with Semantic Models (modeling and row level security).
-Experience with Reports (visualizations and bookmarks).
-Experience with measures and calculated columns.


Nice to have:
--Hands-on experience with Denodo and similar data virtualization platforms
-SQL Server Administration
-Power BI Rest API and Integrate Deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
-Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and task automation.
-Microsoft Fabric.
-Microsoft Power Apps.
-Microsoft Power Automate.

Working from home:
This position is REMOTE. The candidate is able to work remotely from any location. They may be asked to take up to 4 trips per calendar year to Massachusetts if the program/project requires it. Candidates must be able to support EST hours.
