Summary

Job Title : Ciena Blue planet Architect

Location : Denver, CO (Onsite)

Duration : 12 months

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in circuit design, hardware design, analysis, and troubleshooting, preferably within the motor control and defense industry.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both the hardware and software theory of operation of motor controllers and will be capable of leading technical efforts on complex, mission critical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Job Description Ciena Blue Planet Architect / Network Automation Consultant
  • Design end-to-end technical architectures using Ciena Blue Planet products such as Blue Planet MDSO (Multi-Domain Service Orchestration), Blue Planet Inventory (BPI), and Blue Planet Analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with TM Forum standards and industry best practices.
  • Perform auto discovery, federation to discover and reconcile data from multi-vendor, multi-domain, and legacy network sources.
  • Drive data accuracy by continuously identifying and resolving discrepancies between the live network and the inventory.
  • Improve operational efficiency by replacing manual processes with automated, repeatable workflows using GoFlow.
  • Design, build, and govern end-to-end network automation and orchestration solutions using Ciena Blue Planet products.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ciena Blue Planet platform and modules.
  • Define logical, physical, and deployment architectures integrating OSS/BSS systems.
  • Ensure solutions are cloud-native, scalable, highly available, secure, and resilient.
  • Bridge business requirements, OSS/BSS systems, and network infrastructure through scalable architecture design.
  • Act as the technical authority for Blue Planet solutions.
  • Guide development teams on architecture decisions, implementation standards, and best practices.
  • Review solution designs, code, and deployment approaches.
  • Translate customer requirements into solution blueprints and high-level/low-level designs (HLD/LLD).
  • Support solution deployment, migration, and transformation programs.
  • Preferred certification: BPI Certification.
