The Implementation Specialist performs scheduled maintenance and builds a knowledge base of a variety of common medical devices and IT systems.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience:


High School Diploma and 3 to 4 years of experience in IT, Electronic, Mechanical, or Healthcare industry OR Associates Degree


Licensure/Certifications:


Valid driver's license


Other skills/knowledge:


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.


Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

responsibilities:

  • Daily travel between customer locations to service medical devices and IT/Networking platforms.
  • Complete all scheduled maintenance assigned in accordance with the manufacturers' and/or local guidelines within the prescribed timeframe.
  • Perform and document equipment incoming acceptance inspections.
  • With the management of the project team, complete assigned duties including the deployment of network and communications equipment.
  • With oversight and documentation, configure network and communications equipment.
  • Basic troubleshooting of network, communications and IT equipment typically requiring a general understanding of IT and communications networks.
  • Effective use of PCNS toolset to document project efforts, modify project related documentation and to communicate with project team and clients.
  • Collaborate with project management resources to help plan for deployment or upgrade activities by providing input into project work plans, including the definition of key activities and tasks, allocation of resource time and execution of activities in a timely manner.
  • Implement new technology as specified in approved design documents in a manner that maintains a high degree of professionalism and customer communication along the way.
  • Key efforts this position will be involved with include - wireless network deployments, LAN implementations and voice over IP telephony migrations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair general medical equipment.
  • Document, in near real time, all repair and maintenance related activities, including the activities of outside vendors using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Conduct rounds in assigned areas to identify equipment issues and foster excellent customer relations.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair general medical equipment and IT systems, ensuring high uptime for clinical staff.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with project management to define key tasks, allocate resources, and execute technology upgrades in a timely manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain real-time records of all repair and maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and PCNS toolsets.
  • Client Relations: Conduct regular rounds at assigned facilities to identify equipment issues proactively and foster strong professional relationships with onsite staff.
