Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications, user interfaces, business processes, and workflow solutions based on functional and technical requirements.
Implement Appian Data Fabric, Appian Data Analysis, and integration patterns to connect enterprise applications, databases, and external systems.
Develop and troubleshoot application components, integrations, and database interactions while performing debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and development teams on solution design, technical reviews, peer guidance, and Agile development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Experience developing enterprise applications using Appian, including application and interface design, process modeling, and integration patterns.
Experience with Appian Data Fabric, Appian Data Analysis, BPM, SQL, Java or JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and relational databases.
Experience across the software development lifecycle, particularly Agile development, application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Technical Skills:
Appian, Appian Data Fabric, Appian Data Analysis, BPM, SQL, Java, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, MariaDB, Relational Databases
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience designing and developing enterprise business process management and workflow automation solutions.
Experience translating business requirements and operational processes into application workflows, user interfaces, data models, and system integrations.
Experience supporting enterprise application development initiatives involving process automation, business data management, and cross-system information exchange.
Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to validate business rules, refine solution designs, review application functionality, and support end-to-end delivery.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Appian certification, either completed or in progress.
