Position: SAP GTS Functional Consultant
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite preferred)
Duration: 6+ months
SAP GTS or SAP S/4HANA certification
Role Overview
We are looking for an 12+ years experienced SAP GTS Functional Consultant to support the implementation of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) as part of an SAP S/4HANA implementation program. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end GTS solution design, configuration, integration with S/4, and go-live support.
• Lead SAP GTS implementation aligned with an S/4HANA rollout
• Design and configure core GTS components including:
o Compliance Management (Embargo, Sanctioned Party List – SPL)
o Customs Management
o Preference Management
o Legal Control & Product Classification
• Configure and manage integration between SAP GTS and S/4HANA (SD, MM, Logistics)
• Support business blueprint workshops, requirement gathering, and fit-gap analysis
• Define and validate trade compliance processes for imports/exports
• Collaborate with technical teams for interfaces, enhancements, and IDocs/RFCs
• Support testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) and defect resolution
• Assist with cutover, go-live, and hypercare support
• 8+ years of SAP experience, with strong hands-on SAP GTS functional expertise
• Proven experience in SAP GTS implementation projects (at least 1–2 full lifecycle)
• Strong knowledge of GTS–S/4HANA integration
• Experience with global trade compliance, customs, and export control processes
• Excellent understanding of SD/MM integration points with GTS
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to RISE with SAP or S/4HANA Public/Private Cloud
