Job Details
We are seeking a proven electrical construction leader with experience managing large, complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will come directly from an electrical contracting background and have a demonstrated track record overseeing electrical scopes exceeding $25M.
This individual will provide leadership across multiple projects while driving financial performance, operational excellence, client satisfaction, and team development.
Responsibilities
Lead multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously from turnover through completion
Manage project budgets, forecasting, billing, cash flow, and overall financial performance
Review contracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource strategies
Partner closely with field leadership to ensure successful project delivery
Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, challenges, and schedule impacts
Maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
Conduct project reviews and provide leadership to project teams
Ensure compliance with all company safety standards and industry regulations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and project outcomes
Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other operations personnel
Qualifications
8+ years of project management experience within the electrical contracting industry
Experience managing electrical contract values of $25M+ required
Experience overseeing projects with total construction values up to $100M+ preferred
Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, means, and industry best practices
Proven success managing project schedules, budgets, cost controls, and profitability
Experience reviewing contracts, procurement documents, and change management processes
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
Proficiency with construction management and project controls software
Ideal Background
