Summary
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure
cloud infrastructure, including VMs, VNets, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, App Services, and AKS. - Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), including users, groups, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Perform day-to-day cloud operations such as provisioning, configuration, patching, backup, restore, and incident troubleshooting.
- Implement and enforce cloud governance using Azure
Policies, Management Groups, tagging standards, and cost optimization practices. - Support large-scale cloud
migrations using rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies. - Configure and manage networking components including VNets, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, and Load Balancers.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity using Availability Zones, Azure Backup, and Site Recovery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Support and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Apply cloud security best practices and remediate vulnerabilities using Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Document cloud environments, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support and guidance to application teams and junior cloud administrators.
- Strong hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security).
- Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and identity/access management.
- Proven experience managing production cloud
environments. - Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and execution.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VNets, VPNs, DNS, Load Balancers).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning in Azure.
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
