Job Details
Requirements:
-
8 or more years of experience in database administration and engineering.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration, optimization, and high availability (HA).
-
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platform management and performance tuning.
-
Experience in data preparation, cleansing, and transformation for AI/ML datasets.
-
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and complex report development.
-
Experience with HIPAA, FERPA, and institutional data security and privacy compliance.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
-
Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server instances and related services (SSRS).
-
Manage the Snowflake cloud data platform, including tuning, provisioning, and monitoring.

Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting.
-
Support researchers by preparing and cleansing datasets for AI/ML and deep learning projects.
-
Oversee backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability configurations.
-
Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines into SQL Server, Snowflake, and analytical environments.

Collaborate with stakeholders on data governance, metadata, and lineage tracking.
