Business Analyst II Identity Access Management (IAM)
Location 100% Remote
Contract Duration June 2026 December 21, 2026 with strong possibility of an extension
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IAM Business Analyst to support enterprise-scale security and DevOps initiatives within a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role offers the chance to drive secure access and identity management solutions, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and influence IAM strategy, integrations, and process improvements using modern technologies including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM. This fully remote engagement also offers strong extension potential and high visibility across technical and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced IAM Business Analyst who possesses a deep understanding of technical protocols for interoperability. his BA will have a strong focus driving requirements that ensure security, compliance and streamlined user access.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Hold a Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Specialized skills and certifications (like CISSP or CISM) are highly desirable.
- Perform Requirements gathering
- Eliciting IAM needs from stakeholders to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and business objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users.
- Collaboratively participate in designing solutions

- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement IAM solutions that meet business needs and security standards.
- Identify opportunities for optimization
- Work closely with stake DevOps, developers, QA, Support and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Participate in architectural discussions and design reviews to promote best practices.
- Ensure compliancy
- Conduct gap analyses to ensure IAM practices meet regulatory standards (like ISO 27001) and industry best practices.
- Ensure IAM processes and solutions comply with internal policies and security standards.
- Optimize processes
- Analyze and improve identity management procedures, user experience, and the implementation of access control models (RBAC, ABAC).
- Support integration
- Understand how IAM solutions integrate with various systems and APIs using standards like SAML, OAUTH, and SCIM.
- Provide support for IAM tools and resolve access-related issues for IAM internal teams.
- Provide documentation
- Create and maintain essential documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and visual aids.
- Provide mentorship
- Work with DevOps engineers, Developers, Support and QA to provide guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.
- Provide strong communication
- Present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Identify and resolve complex security and access management issues
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Solid understanding of various interoperability protocols including:
- SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)
- OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC):
- SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management):
- REST and SOAP APIs
- Strong understanding of basic IAM processes including:
- RBAC
- Provisioning
- Deprovisioning
- Active Directory
- SDLC
- Audit
- Expertise in DevOps Practices:
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Experience working various designing tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
