Job Title: ODI Administrator (Oracle Data Integrator & Oracle Analytics Server)
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ODI Administrator to manage, support, and maintain enterprise data integration and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) administration, Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) system administration, and platform patching and upgrade activities. This role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of data integration workflows while proactively monitoring jobs, troubleshooting issues, and supporting business-critical reporting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrator and maintain Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) environments, including installation, configuration, and ongoing support.
- Perform system administration for Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Execute patching, upgrades, and environment migrations for ODI and OAS platforms following best practices.
- Monitor ODI jobs and workflows, identify failures, and perform debugging and root cause analysis.
- Troubleshoot data integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems across environments.
- Manage repositories, agents, and scheduling components within ODI.
- Support release deployments and coordinate with development and infrastructure teams during production rollouts.
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure system security, access control, and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) administration.
- Experience administering Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
- Proven experience with system patching, upgrades, and environment maintenance.
- Solid experience in ODI job monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Good understanding of ETL processes and data integration architectures.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
- Knowledge of database concepts and Oracle Database administration fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ODI workflows.
- Familiarity with enterprise scheduling tools and monitoring solutions.
- Exposure to cloud-based Oracle analytics or data platforms.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ODI/OAS administration or related data platform support roles.
Key Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities
- Attention to detail and operational ownership
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production support environment
Educational Qualifications:
· Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
· Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.
Travel:
· Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
