Role: Construction Superintendent
Location: Clovis, CA
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations and manage day-to-day construction activities for commercial projects. The Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, managing site logistics, conducting safety meetings, tracking project progress, maintaining project documentation, overseeing permitting and inspections, managing RFIs, and supporting project scheduling using CPM methodologies. The role also requires collaboration with project teams, owners, architects, engineers, and utility providers to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of construction industry experience as a Superintendent or related role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and field operations.
- Experience with CPM scheduling using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and identify constructability issues.
- Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
- Experience with DSA and/or HCAI projects is preferred.
- Trade experience in carpentry, masonry, or related construction disciplines is a plus.
