This role will provide hands-on design and engineering support across electrical and instrumentation/control systems, with the opportunity to grow into more advanced technical or project roles over time.

We're looking for candidates with a strong technical background in either Electrical or Instrumentation and Controls, who are eager to develop skills across both disciplines. Attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential. You'll collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers on a variety of multidisciplinary projects focused on energy transition, infrastructure upgrades, and critical facility improvements.

  • Instrument location plans, instrument lists, and I/O lists.
  • Loop diagrams, ladder diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
  • Control panel layouts, terminal diagrams, and panel BOMs.
  • P&IDs in collaboration with process and mechanical teams.
  • Assist in developing instrument datasheets, control philosophies, cause & effect matrices, and network architecture diagrams.
  • Assist in specifying PLCs, RTUs, instrumentation, and control system components.
  • Coordinate with vendors for instrumentation and control panel submittals and integration.

General Responsibilities
  • Contribute to proposal support, including preliminary scope, budget, and schedule input.
  • Support site walkdowns and data collection for retrofit or greenfield design.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to produce coordinated drawing packages.
  • Interface with clients and vendors to align on scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Participate in construction support, including RFIs, redlines, and field verifications.
