Senior Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused federal IT program in
Washington DC.

The Senior Systems Engineer will provide senior-level systems engineering support for enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, endpoints, messaging systems, databases, and related technologies. This role supports reliable, secure, and compliant operations across complex federal mission environments.
The Senior Systems Engineer will lead system deployments, patching, performance tuning, high availability planning, lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and technical documentation. This position will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, support secure configurations, maintain operational continuity, and help ensure enterprise systems remain resilient, available, and aligned with mission and compliance requirements.
This role requires a hands-on senior technical professional with experience supporting enterprise systems in secure or regulated environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, documentation discipline, technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate across network, cybersecurity, service desk, engineering, and government stakeholder teams in a classified or sensitive federal IT environment.
Required Skills - Minimum 7 years systems engineering experience
- Secure enterprise infrastructure experience
- Experience with servers, virtualization, storage, endpoint management, databases, messaging, or related platforms
- Security+ required or equivalent.
Desired Skills VMware, Microsoft, Linux, Oracle, NetApp/EMC, CISSP, VDI, MECM/Intune, Exchange, classified environment, or federal infrastructure experience.
