Job Summary
Responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining core network infrastructure, following defined runbooks and SOPs in a healthcare environment where availability is critical.
Core Responsibilities
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers/APs, load balancers, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and network monitoring tools.
- Analyze capacity, latency, availability, utilization, segmentation, and resiliency requirements.
- Support incidents, changes, network upgrades, lifecycle replacements, and major event readiness.
- Document network designs, standards, diagrams, configurations, and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, telecom, cloud, application, and vendor teams to resolve cross-domain issues.
- Performs routine activities using defined runbooks and SOPs.
- Resolves low-complexity requests, documents outcomes, and escalates issues with complete troubleshooting detail.
Skills/Experience
LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing/switching, TCP/IP, firewalls basics, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, change management, healthcare availability requirements.
