The Opportunity: Design and implement effective artificial intelligence (AI) solution architecture or strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and met hods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the organization's strategies, business goals, and key ethical considerations. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.
You Have: - 8+ years of experience with data science, machine learning (ML), deep learning, or AI
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying Generative AI, AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Reinforcement Learning, and training and optimizing computer vision models
- Experience building and scaling AI-ready CI / CD pipelines such as MLOps or IaaS, leveraging DevSecOps tools to manage the end-to-end deployment of AI prototypes into highly regulated production environments while maintaining high availability and security compliance
- Experience packaging and framing technical R & D outputs into enterprise-grade offerings, ensuring AI solutions are structured for governance, security compliance, and seamless alignment with existing business workflows
- Knowledge of both AWS and Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms, and their AI services
- Knowledge of the AI / ML development lifecycle, and common LLM and Agent AI design patterns, including LangGraph and Open AI SDK
- Ability to develop solutions using technologies or tools, including Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Linux, AWS Cloud Services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SageMaker, CloudWatch, and Bedrock, and Google Cloud Platform Cloud Services such as Vertex AI, Gemini, Cloud SQL, Vertex AI, and BigQuery
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable business insights for senior-level leadership and operational end-users, facilitating informed decision-making and project buy-in
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a CS, Engineering, or Data Science field
Nice If You Have: - Experience with Edge deployments and optimization strategies, including quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation
- Experience with MLOps for production and ML workloads
- Experience working with cybersecurity teams to develop and review technical documentation and security control implementation required to achieve and maintain ATO

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
