Position: Mainframe Developer (CA IDEAL and CA Datacom) Urgent

Location: Remote USA

Note :: Client is interested on profiles with Mainframe (IDEAL/DATACOM) and .net (C#) from technology stand point. They also need healthcare background

Job Description ::

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with CA IDEAL and CA Datacom in mainframe environments.
• Proven expertise in developing, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale enterprise applications using ideal/Datacom.
• Strong coding and testing experience in IDEAL/DATACOM and COBOL/CICS/DTACOM combinations.
• Experience in production support and maintenance.
• Experience with JCL, CICS, COBOL, VSAM, and batch processing in a mainframe environment.
• Knowledge of Datacom QDRY and DB utilities, along with performance tuning expertise.
• Experience in mainframe testing tools, version controllers and job schedulers, such as Xpeditor, Endevor, Control-M etc.
• Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders, technical teams, and non-technical users.

Preferred:

• Experience with modernization of legacy systems, including migrations or integrations with more modern platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
