We are seeking an experienced Sr Manager Endur Engineer with strong expertise in database performance tuning and SQL optimization, ideally within the oil & gas or energy trading domain. This role will focus on supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the Endur trading platform, with an emphasis on system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Your Impact:
Design, develop, and support solutions within the Endur (Openlink) trading platform
Perform database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis
Analyze and optimize SQL performance to improve system stability and response times
Troubleshoot and resolve Endur-related performance, data, and integration issues
Support Endur patches, upgrades, and data migrations
Monitor database health and proactively identify performance bottlenecks impacting Endur batch jobs, reports, and intraday processing
Perform index maintenance, query tuning, statistics management, and capacity planning
Participate in production support and incident resolution as needed
Document technical solutions, best practices, and performance improvements
Work closely with Endur developers, functional teams, and application support during releases and upgrades
Develop monitoring and alerting for Endur critical database processes
Your Skills & Experience
8-10+ years of experience working with Endur/Openlink
Strong hands-on experience with SQL tuning and database performance optimization
Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar)
Solid understanding of Endur data models, deal lifecycle, and core modules
Proven experience supporting high-volume, performance-sensitive systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Oil & gas, energy trading industry experience (power, gas, crude, LNG, etc.)
Experience with Endur performance troubleshooting in production environments
Knowledge of Endur JVS, AVS, or integration frameworks
Experience with large-scale trading or risk management systems
Familiarity with batch processing, scheduling, and monitoring tools
