Business Applications Administrator

Description

We are looking for a Business Applications Administrator to support and enhance core business systems in San Antonio, Texas. This role works closely with employees across the organization to understand operational needs, improve workflows, and ensure applications are configured to support day-to-day work effectively. The ideal candidate combines technical administration skills with strong business partnership, helping users solve problems, adopt new tools, and get more value from critical platforms.

Responsibilities:
Partner with staff across departments to gather business needs, analyze current processes, and recommend practical system-based solutions.
Administer and configure business applications to align with operational goals, user needs, and evolving organizational priorities.
Convert functional requirements into streamlined workflows, system settings, and process improvements within supported platforms.
Investigate and resolve application issues, providing timely support to users and maintaining reliable system performance.
Develop and update clear documentation for system configurations, procedures, training materials, and support processes.
Deliver user training and ongoing guidance to help employees use applications effectively and adopt new features with confidence.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through workflow refinement, automation, and stronger application usage standards.
Contribute to system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and related technology initiatives that impact business operations.
Help create consistent practices for governing, supporting, and managing applications across the organization.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in business systems, application administration, systems analysis, or a related function.
Hands-on experience supporting and configuring business applications, CRM platforms, or similar enterprise systems.
Ability to gather requirements, evaluate business workflows, and translate operational needs into effective application solutions.
Experience creating process documentation, user guides, and training materials for nontechnical audiences.
Strong troubleshooting and user support skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced service environment.
Demonstrated success learning new platforms quickly and becoming a trusted internal resource for critical systems.
Familiarity with workflow improvement, configuration management, and application-related projects such as upgrades or integrations.
Experience with Foundant, Salesforce administration, CRM environments, API-related integrations, or comparable platforms is a plus.
