We are looking for candidates with strong SAP ECC and S/4HANA experience, including ABAP on HANA, AMDP, CDS views, BOPF, BRF+, OData services, Fiori/BTP, and FI/CO and MM processes. The role also requires hands-on production support, batch-job monitoring, ticket resolution, integrations, performance tuning, and SAP enhancements.

Full JD:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA. The consultant will develop and enhance SAP applications, provide production support, monitor system jobs, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with functional teams across the Finance and Materials Management modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address production-support issues and service tickets within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Monitor daily tickets, provide timely updates, and manage issue-resolution timelines.
• Monitor S/4HANA batch jobs, investigate failures and alerts, rerun failed jobs, and resolve underlying issues.
• Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications across FI/CO and MM.
• Develop solutions using ABAP on HANA, AMDP, CDS views, code-pushdown techniques, BOPF, and backend OData services.
• Build CDS consumption and composite views and develop business rules using BRF+.
• Use AMDP and Native SQL to optimize application and database performance.
• Develop and support SAP Fiori applications on SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Enhance standard SAP functionality using user exits, Business Transaction Events, BAdIs, and implicit and explicit enhancement spots.
• Design and develop SOAP- and REST-based services and APIs.
• Develop SAPscript, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Develop module pool applications using custom controls, including ALV, tree, image, and OLE embedding.
• Develop and support EDI and IDoc integrations, including distribution-model configuration, change pointers, and ABAP proxies.
• Develop ALV reports, including drill-down and interactive reporting using ALV events.
• Apply object-oriented ABAP programming principles and best practices.
• Perform code optimization, performance tuning, and runtime analysis.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand end-to-end Finance and Materials Management business processes.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of SAP ABAP development experience across SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, AMDP, CDS views, BOPF, BRF+, and OData services.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end FI/CO and MM business processes.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications and SAP BTP.
• Expertise in SAP enhancement frameworks, including user exits, BTEs, BAdIs, and enhancement spots.
• Experience designing SOAP and REST services and APIs.
• Strong experience with SAP forms, module pool programming, EDI/IDocs, ABAP proxies, and ALV reporting.
• Proficiency in object-oriented ABAP development.
• Demonstrated experience with code optimization, performance tuning, and runtime analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting, production-support, communication, and ticket-management skills.
