RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a People Partner to join their team in Cincinnati, Ohio (OH). We are open to candidates who are remote and local to Cincinnati (do not have to be in Ohio - but preferred, it would make it easier for when the contractor will need to be in office).
Summary:
The team is going through their acquisition, so they are looking for someone with HR experience with employee relations (performance plans, disciplinary actions, etc.) - someone who's dealt with employee separation packages (severances) due to the merger and acquisition. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with employee separation. This is a tactical position (creating severance paperwork, etc). Work schedule and time zone: M-F, 8-5 pm, EST.
Duties:
* Plans and coordinates all aspects of non-technical projects from initiation through delivery
* Manages project initiation activities that include identifying contractual obligations, client or business needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed
* Ensures requirements for internal projects align to operational standards; Develop alternate requirements or document exceptions as appropriate
* Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables
* Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles
* Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints, and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope
* Assigns and monitors work of project team, providing analytical support and direction
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
* Employee Relations experience: 5 years of experience in employee relations, merger & acquisitions, performance Improvement Plans, Disciplinary Actions
* Investigations experience
* Reduction in Force experience
* Experience with the creation and delivery of severance agreements
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Docusign
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
