Java Backend Developer - H1 transfer only

Introduction

The client is seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and Authentication (OAuth & JWT). This role will involve hands-on coding and collaborating with the team to develop robust backend solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture
Integrate and work with Apache Kafka for real-time data processing
Utilize Apache Cassandra for scalable and high-performance data storage
Implement secure authentication mechanisms using OAuth and JWT
Create and optimize database queries in PostgreSQL
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code
Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in a timely manner

Requirements

Required Skills

Proficiency in Java programming language
Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot for backend development
Knowledge of Microservices architecture
Familiarity with Apache Kafka for event streaming
Hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra for distributed database management
Understanding of Authentication protocols such as OAuth and JWT
Ability to write and optimize SQL queries in PostgreSQL

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Knowledge of Docker and containerization
Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
