Building the right technology foundation for Infrastructure & platforms is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization. Included in this are data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers.

The Wibey DeskTop team develops and maintains the app-based interface for Wibey, Walmart's intelligent orchestration platform for software development and operations. They enable users to search content across internal sources, leverage AI to enhance prompts, and access trusted answers with citations. They also provide SDKs that allow different teams within Walmart to contribute to and extend the platform. The team's mission is to support everyone who builds or runs software at Walmart by providing a unified entry point to tools, documentation, and agent-powered actions throughout the entire SDLC (plan, build, ship, run).

What you'll do:
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable, secure software solutions.
  • Design and build full stack applications integrating AI, content, and collaboration platforms.
  • Develop maintainable, testable code aligned with performance and security standards.
  • Create automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Execute testing, defect tracking, and regression validation to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks, recommend solutions, and support agile development iterations.

What you'll bring:
  • Extensive experience in full-stack software development with proficiency in React, Java, JavaScript, Python, and related frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, solution architecture, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini CLI, or similar)
  • Expertise in Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.
  • Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional technical solutions.
  • Skilled in debugging, defect management, and performance troubleshooting to ensure high availability and maintainability.
  • Commitment to coding standards, security policies, and quality assurance best practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
