Requirements:
Process Analysis and Documentation • Engage with business units to understand operational workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities. • Interface with technical resources, such as Development or IT staff to understand and translate technical requirements. • Document current state processes using clear, structured methods such as process maps, swimlane diagrams, and workflow charts. • Facilitate discussions to define future state processes aligned with organizational goals. Requirements Gathering and User Story Development • Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and Azure DevOps work items/user stories. • Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, testable, and aligned with business priorities. • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to refine and validate requirements. Testing and Quality Assurance • Develop test plans, test scripts, and step-by-step testing instructions for functional and user acceptance testing. • Execute functional testing of user stories in Development and Test environments to validate solution accuracy and readiness. • Document defects, track resolution progress, and verify fixes. • Coordinate, support, or lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication • Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment. • Communicate project updates, risks, and issues clearly and proactively. • Support change management activities by contributing to training materials, documentation, and user guidance.
Location & Schedule:
• Remote & Oklahoma City, OK • In-person attendance may be required for some on-site meetings. Please note TRS will not reimburse travel expenses for contractors. Pursuant to the Central Purchasing Act (74 O.S. § 85.40), any travel expenses incurred by contractors or agents of contractors providing goods or services to the state must be included in the contract award and paid as a part of the contract payment. • Work hours are usually 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with flexibility possible if approved by the TRS Project Manager.
Required Skills:
• Experience in business analysis, process documentation, or related roles.• Strong analytical and problem solving skills• Ability to create clear process diagrams and workflow documentation.• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.• Familiarity with DevOps or similar work item management tools.• Hands on experience with functional testing and UAT coordination.• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
