Summary

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager Thought Leadership to join a high-performing integrated marketing organization focused on creating compelling executive-level content for a leading technology company. This role will drive the development of thought leadership initiatives, executive messaging, blogs, articles, and industry insights that strengthen brand awareness and establish the organization as an industry leader.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller with a strong journalism and corporate marketing background who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience working within the technology sector is required, while cybersecurity or security industry experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute thought leadership content strategies that support business and marketing objectives.
Create high-quality executive-facing content, including blogs, articles, whitepapers, opinion pieces, customer stories, and industry insights.
Partner closely with executives and senior stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into compelling, business-focused narratives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, communications, social media, design, and external agencies, to deliver impactful content campaigns.
Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
Maintain editorial standards, messaging consistency, and brand voice across all content.
Work with freelance writers, content agencies, and AI-assisted content creation tools to scale content production efficiently.
Support content distribution strategies across digital, social, and executive communication channels.
Stay current on technology and cybersecurity trends to develop timely, relevant content.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in Content Marketing, Corporate Communications, Journalism, or Thought Leadership.
Proven experience creating executive-facing content, including blogs, articles, bylined pieces, and industry insights.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
Experience working for a high-tech company is required.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with executives and senior leadership.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with executive presence.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the cybersecurity or information security industry.
Background in B2B technology marketing.
Experience managing external agencies and freelance writers.
Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation tools and modern content marketing platforms.
Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across digital and social channels.
