Detailed Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in IBM mainframe technologies, leadership capabilities, and experience managing development teams while delivering highquality solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ Series.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and modernization initiatives.
  • Drive application design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
  • Review technical solutions and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Estimate effort, create development plans, and track project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Support API enablement and integration of mainframe applications with distributed systems.
  • Participate in cloud, DevOps, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Contribute to mainframe modernization strategies and automation efforts.
  • Lead a team of mainframe developers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
