Senior Mainframe Developer

Experience: 13+ Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Mainframe Developer with 13+ years of experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining mainframe applications. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IBM Mainframe technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications.

• Write and modify programs using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

• Develop and support online and batch processing applications.

• Work with CICS, VSAM, and other mainframe technologies.

• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.

• Perform application debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Identify and resolve production issues.

• Optimize application performance and improve system efficiency.

• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other technical teams.

• Participate in code reviews, system testing, and application deployment.

Required Skills:

• 13+ years of experience in Mainframe Development.

• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.

• Good knowledge of VSAM, TSO/ISPF, and IBM z/OS.

• Experience with batch processing and online transaction processing.

• Knowledge of SQL and mainframe utilities.

• Experience in production support and application maintenance.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with IMS and Control-M.

• Knowledge of mainframe modernization and migration.

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain.

• Familiarity with Agile and SDLC methodologies.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
