Job Description – Google Cloud Platform & AWS Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate the provisioning, deployment, and operational readiness of customer environments on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Automate cloud service enablement, networking, IAM configurations, secrets management, and baseline logging.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure for RAG and knowledge pipelines, including document stores, vector databases, search indexes, embedding/indexing jobs, and schedulers.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy pre-built application packages, customer-specific configurations, and knowledge-index refresh jobs.
  • Automate application promotion and environment creation with minimal manual intervention.
  • Manage environment lifecycle activities, including creation, updates, snapshots, backups, and teardown.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and logging for cloud environments and pipeline jobs.
  • Ensure secure deployments through IAM policies, secrets management, private networking, and audit logging.
  • Collaborate with architects, specialists, and data engineers to implement reusable infrastructure modules and deployment workflows.
  • Manage cloud costs through budgets, resource labels/tags, and idle-environment policies.
  • Support the deployment of pre-built CCAI, voice, and chat application packages without developing conversational applications or retrieval logic.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform across both Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud security operations, including:
    • IAM and access management
    • Secrets managers
    • Private networking
    • Audit logging
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, and production environment management.
  • Google Cloud DevOps Engineer and/or AWS DevOps or SysOps certification preferred.
  • Experience deploying contact-center or conversational platforms is an advantage.
