Job#: 3030376 Job Description: The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, validating, and maintaining data used across business applications, reporting environments, and the enterprise data warehouse. This role ensures data accuracy, completeness, and accessibility while partnering with business analysts, audit teams, and development groups to resolve data issues and support reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, document, and maintain data requirements for business applications, interfaces, and reporting.
- Profile, validate, map, and integrate system data into the data warehouse to support reporting and analytics.
- Troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve data integrity.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and corrective actions.
- Work with ETL developers to test and validate data attributes and ensure consistent integration across source systems.
- Provide accurate documentation for data-related project deliverables and coordinate with business analysts to resolve system nuances and data issues.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Six years of experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, data transformation, reconciliation, or advanced data presentation.
- Strong SQL skills, including modifying existing queries and developing new ones.
- Hands-on SAS experience, including analyzing and modifying existing programs.
- Understanding of enterprise data warehouse concepts and experience querying data in a VLDB environment.
- Familiarity with query analysis tools.
- Experience with Python.
Preferred Qualifications- Banking or financial services experience.
- Audit experience.
