• Title: PL/SQL Developer
• Location: Dallas only
• Contract: W2 only,12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
• Pay: $75/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview

Analyze business and regulatory requirements and translate them into effective data models, SQL/PLSQL logic, and reporting solutions. Design, propose, and implement scalable software solutions to support complex regulatory and business requirements. Develop and enhance database processes and functionalities that are prerequisites for regulatory reporting. Manage data housekeeping activities and data catalog maintenance using Alation. Drive continuous improvement of data lineage and metadata management through IDMC. Collaborate with ETL/Axiom developers and testing teams to drive solutions from development to production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and regulatory requirements and translate them into effective data models, SQL/PLSQL logic, and reporting solutions.
• Design, propose, and implement scalable software solutions to support complex regulatory and business requirements.
• Develop and enhance database processes and functionalities that are prerequisites for regulatory reporting.
• Manage data housekeeping activities and data catalog maintenance using Alation.
• Drive continuous improvement of data lineage and metadata management through IDMC.
• Collaborate with ETL/Axiom developers and testing teams to drive solutions from development to production deployment.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience using any reporting tool which reads from very large data sets.
• Expertise in database design and programming skills using SQL/PLSQL.
• Skilled in data analysis and data modeling.
• Knowledge and experience of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
• Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture.
