Cadence Design Systems is seeking Analog CAD engineering specialists to support the growing analog design and custom layout team building IP using the Cadence design tools (Virtuoso, Pegasus, Quantus, etc.) to build high speed interfaces used in chips found in cars, cell phones, data centers, etc.

You will get the opportunity to collaborate with circuit implementation experts to contribute to the development of exciting chips, work with the best-in-class EDA tools and interact with the Cadence engineering team using developing those tools to improve those tools.

Analog CAD tasks

The Analog CAD team is a part of the Cadence Design IP development group responsible for supporting the design and layout teams as they design analog IP circuits. They support the design teams in the different steps of the design and layout flow: design capture, pre and post-layout simulation, optimization, layout, EM/IR analysis, thermal analysis, reliability, 2.5D and 3D IC, etc.

We also collaborate with the best in class tools developed by Cadence to improve them and tailor them to our needs.

We also build tools to help increase the efficiency of the teams and the quality of the circuits. We collaborate with the teams to improve their flows and design methodologies.

Additional

• BSEE, MSEE
• Previous experience in Analog CAD support
• Very good understanding of circuit design and layout design
• Exposure to Cadence Composer Schematic, Virtuoso Layout and physical verification tools is a plus
• Team player, driven, self-motivated, innovative and autonomous
• Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills

Cadence Design Systems recherche des spcialistes CAD analogiques pour soutenir l'quipe de conception de circuits et layouts analogiques. Cette quipe dveloppe des blocs IP l'aide des outils de conception Cadence (Virtuoso, Pegasus, Quantus, etc.) afin de crer des interfaces haut dbit utilises dans les puces qu'on retrouve dans les automobiles, les tlphones portables, les centres de donnes, etc.

Vous aurez l'opportunit de collaborer avec des experts en conception de circuits analogiques pour contribuer au dveloppement de puces innovantes, de travailler avec des outils EDA de pointe et d'interagir avec les concepteurs de Cadence qui dveloppent ces outils afin de les amliorer.

Les tches de l'quipe CAD analogique

L'quipe Analog CAD fait partie du groupe de dveloppement de proprit intellectuelle (IP) de Cadence Design Systems. Elle accompagne les quipes de conception et de routage lors de la conception de circuits IP analogiques. Elle les soutient chaque tape du processus : dessin des schmatiques, simulations pr- et post-routage, optimisation, routage, analyses lectromagntiques/infrarouges, analyses thermiques, fiabilit, circuits intgrs 2.5D et 3D, etc.

Nous collaborons galement avec Cadence pour amliorer et adapter ses outils de pointe nos besoins.

Nous dveloppons aussi des outils pour accrotre l'efficacit des quipes et la qualit des circuits. Nous travaillons en troite collaboration avec les quipes pour optimiser les mthodologies de conception.

Profil recherch :

Diplme en gnie lectrique ou lectronique (BSEE ou MSEE)

Exprience en support CAD analogique (design, layout)

Excellente comprhension de la conception de circuits et du layout

La connaissance des outils de conception Cadence Composer Schematic et Virtuoso Layout et des outils de simulation et de vrification physique est un atout

Esprit d'quipe, dynamisme, autonomie, esprit d'innovation

Excellentes comptences en communication, prsentation et service client

The annual salary range for British Columbia is 156,800 CAD to 291,200 CAD. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
