Summary

Job Title: Change Management Lead – Strategic Supplier Program

Engagement Type: Contract to Hire

Duration: Initial 6 months (exact duration TBD), with potential conversion to full-time employment

Location: Atlanta, GA (preferred) or Research Triangle Park, NC. Hybrid role requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in a client office. Travel up to 10% for program workshops and stakeholder meetings (fully funded).

Client Environment: Large enterprise technology environment undergoing a strategic supplier/vendor transformation initiative

Role Overview

This role sits within the Strategic Supplier Program, the function that governs how external labor is sourced, contracted, onboarded, and managed across the enterprise. The primary business outcome is to drive high adoption rates of new labor sourcing program and processes and ensure seamless stakeholder transition including internal and specific 3_rd_ party suppliers.

The Communications & Change Management Lead – Strategic Supplier Program will design and execute the organizational change and communication strategy supporting a large-scale supplier sourcing transformation. This role bridges technical program delivery with organizational adoption, driving stakeholder buy-in and a seamless transition for internal teams and third-party suppliers alike. The position offers the opportunity to shape executive-level communication strategy while ensuring the transformation’s strategic value is fully realized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to support program milestones.
  • Co-lead change management initiatives to facilitate adoption of new labor sourcing processes.
  • Partner with program leadership to align delivery milestones with strategic messaging.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization to ensure buy-in.
  • Provide strategic guidance on change management best practices to ensure program success.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of communication and change efforts.
  • Facilitate workshops and feedback loops to address organizational pain points.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations to maintain transparency and alignment.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of change management experience in a management role directly supporting a contingent workforce, vendor management, or strategic sourcing program in a large enterprise or MSP environment
  • Hands-on daily use of a VMS platform
  • Demonstrated expertise in program delivery and managing complex, large-scale initiatives.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively at a Manager or Senior Manager level.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Preferred

Qualifications

  • Experience within a large global technology organization or similar enterprise environment.
  • Experience in labor sourcing, vendor management systems (VMS), or transformation functions. What this role is not: This is not an IT, engineering, or systems implementation position. We are not looking for candidates whose VMS or ERP experience is limited to implementing, integrating, or developing the platform. We are looking for candidates who have operated a vendor/contingent labor program inside those tools — managing suppliers, workers, requisitions, and spend. Resumes centered on technical delivery, infrastructure, application development, or systems integration will not be a fit.
