When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you'll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do every day.

About the Role

We are seeking a data-driven and collaborative DTC Data Analytics Specialist to join the Global DTC team for the Sound United business unit within Harman's Lifestyle division. In this eCommerce role, you will partner closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to analyze performance across our direct-to-consumer channels and uncover insights that drive growth. You'll help measure the impact of campaigns, optimize digital storefronts, and provide actionable recommendations that improve both customer experience and business performance.

What You Will Do
  • Analyze DTC business performance across traffic, conversion, average order value (AOV), revenue per visitor (RPV), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Derive insights from data, ranging from business/financial insights to media and website data insights, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to drive business growth.
  • Build, develop, review, and coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, collaborating with the cross-organizational teams to provide actionable insights.
  • Work closely with the DTC Merchandising and Finance teams to develop annual KPI forecasts that align with annual revenue forecasts.
  • Setup, maintain, and enforce Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics tagging structure and data acquisition compliance.

What You Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance) or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in eCommerce, DTC analytics, business analysis or a related role.
  • Expertise with analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics), data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points if You Have
  • MBA / Masters in applicable field.
  • Experience working within a multi-brand portfolio.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or other eCommerce platforms.
  • SQL or other query language skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, Varify).

What Makes You Eligible
  • Willingness to travel 5% domestically.
  • Be open to working in the Carlsbad, CA office (hybrid option available; flexibility to come into the office on short notice when needed is appreciated).
  • Due to the nature of global infrastructure, you understand that flexibility in working hours is required.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment (post-offer).

What We Offer
  • Competitive wellness benefits and 401K Retirement Savings plan.
  • An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages career development opportunities.
  • Flexible work schedule with a culture encouraging work-life integration and collaboration in a global environment.
  • Professional development opportunities through HARMAN University's business and leadership academies and extensive course catalog.
  • Tuition Reimbursement.
  • Access to employee discounts on world-class HARMAN products (JBL, Harman/Kardon, Bowers & Wilkins, Dennon, Marantz, Polk, Definitive Technologies).
  • "Be Brilliant" employee recognition and rewards program.
