a Data Management Business Analyst with
one of our large Banking clients.
Location: Hybrid - CHARLOTTE, NC
Onsite expectation: 3 days onsite per week
Pay range: $53.60 - $56.60/HR
Contract Length: 12 months
Note: We are unable to consider C2C or third-party submissions.
Data Management Business Analyst to support the Client Data group BSA/AML efforts. Will be working with Customer Due Diligence data, supporting various functionalities on the product side (contracts, customer account history, etc.) to ensure the data complies with audits and regulatory requirements.
Must Have- Candidates must have experience requirements gathering and data analysis. Needs to be a self-starter. Ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong understanding of the requirements analysis lifecycle, Data analysis, Financial experience and strong foundational RDBMS expertise. The emphasis is on business and data analysis, as opposed to a technology skillset (developers, DBS, etc.).
- 7+ years experience in combination of Business Analysis, Project Management, Data Analysis, Testing (essentially a data product owner)
- 5+ proven experience of complex data models and advanced SQL querying skills (Teradata) and communicate findings & insights
- Additional responsibilities may include data management, data lineage/metadata, data controls; experience in data control governance; data defect/issue/deficiency remediation; documenting data flows/process flows
- Work effort coordination/management experience, current process assessment and improvement experience
- Experience writing business requirements as JIRA stories, working in agile environment
- Strong data profiling and data analytics
- Strong SQL writing experience (joins, unions, sub-queries)
- Experience understanding pseudo SQL code and reverse engineer them to write tech requirements
Good to Have: Banking/Financial services experience, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, Cloud Google Cloud Platform/Big query (highlighted is the most desired)
