Experience Level: Expert (14+ years total, 10+ years US experience required)
Key Responsibilities
- Expert-level Java service development with strong hands-on delivery experience (designing, building, troubleshooting production services)
- Deep experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework, including Spring Security (authentication/authorization concepts, secure-by-design patterns)
- Strong RESTful API design and development, including versioning, contract clarity, backward compatibility, and API documentation practices
- Proven technical leadership: architecture guidance, review/feedback, coaching, and driving engineering decisions to closure
Qualifications
- 14+ years of Java development experience with 10+ years US experience
- Expert proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring Security
- Advanced RESTful API design and implementation skills
- Demonstrated technical leadership and architecture experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and production service troubleshooting expertise
- Availability for hybrid work in Texas City, TX area
