Counterfeit Component Management
  • Manage counterfeit testing programs at independent test facilities
  • Review and analyze test results (physical inspection, X-ray, decapsulation, electrical testing)
  • Make authoritative determinations on component authenticity based on test data
  • Implement corrective actions when counterfeit components are identified

Supply Chain & Database Management
  • Maintain approved vendor lists (AVL) and approved component lists (ACL) in PLM systems
  • Work with procurement to reduce single-source risks
  • Track and manage lifetime buy inventory

Quality & Compliance
  • Investigate component failures and coordinate root-cause analysis with suppliers
  • Verify compliance with RoHS, REACH, conflict minerals, and export control regulations
  • Support supplier quality investigations and audits

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Communicate component risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders
  • Support new product introductions with component selection guidance

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to make sound technical judgments under pressure

Desired:
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or high-reliability industries
  • Certified Component Engineer (CCE) or similar certification
