We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Test Lead to oversee integrated testing, release validation, and test environment management across the Microsoft 365 collaboration ecosystem. This role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end testing activities for platform changes impacting Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Microsoft Copilot, Entra ID, Purview, and related services. The successful candidate will serve as a central coordination point between engineering teams, technology owners, release management, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure platform changes are thoroughly tested, documented, and validated before production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead testing efforts for Microsoft 365 platform changes managed through integrated release management processes.
- Define, coordinate, execute, and report on end-to-end testing activities across multiple Microsoft 365 services.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.
- Manage testing activities using Octane and other testing tools.
- Support and maintain Microsoft 365 testing environments.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in software testing, platform validation, quality assurance, or release management. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies in an enterprise environment and coordinating large-scale integrated testing efforts is required. Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Micro Focus ALM/Octane or Jira is also necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Automation Testing, Selenium, and DevOps is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting financial services or highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration and collaboration platform operations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview compliance capabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot testing and validation.
- Understanding of identity and access management concepts within Microsoft Entra ID.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and enterprise release management practices.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks and test optimization initiatives.
