What Data & Analytics Management contributes to Cardinal HealthThe Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics lifecycle to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
The Manager, Data & Analytics Management provides strategic oversight, leadership, and direction within the Data & Analytics function, and leads the team(s) responsible for data and technology management to support and enable USMPD Commercial processes including data engineering, business partnership, data integrity, data acquisition, reporting and analysis. They use standard and specialized business software tools to assist USMPD Commercial in managing business processes and performance.

Responsibilities- Manage Data Analytics and visualization for USPMD Commercial business.
- Manage Medical segment Sales solutions with Google Cloud Platform BigQuery(EDnA) and Integration Server.
- Manage a team of 5-7 employees; responsible for hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Manage working relationships with external IT vendor (Genpact) and CHII Bengluru.
- Works with stakeholders to identify business opportunities, goals, or objectives.
- Determines if objectives can be met using an analytical approach and develops hypothesis.
- Identifies key data requirements and acquires data.
- Harmonizes, rescales, and cleans data for statistical techniques.
- Applies data visualization techniques to evaluate data for model specification etc.
- Builds custom quantitative models by applying advanced statistical methods such as causal and predictive modeling, forecasting, data mining, simulation, and/or optimization.
- Leads the team in translating business problems into analytics / ML / AI solution concepts, partnering with stakeholders to define use cases, value, and success metrics.
- Oversees implementation approach for ML/AI initiatives (e.g., requirements, data readiness, experimentation, validation, monitoring), ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and adopted by end users.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and determines need for reformulation.
- Interprets results of quantitative models, identifies trends, and issues, and develops alternatives to support business objectives.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences and mediums.
- Partners with stakeholders and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in related field preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate understanding of financial implications of projects.
- Experience on large-scale implementation programs preferred.
- Generative AI implementation experience (e.g., LLM-based solutions such as summarization, Q&A, RAG), including evaluation and responsible AI considerations preferred.
- Agentic AI implementation experience (multi-step orchestration, tool/function calling, workflow automation) in enterprise environments preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Looker, Google Cloud Platform BigQuery and DataBricks preferred.
Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $165,110
